ZQNZ Terms Of Use

Acceptance

By using ZQNZ, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or its community features.

Your use of the app is also subject to the Privacy Policy at https://zqnz.app/privacy.

Local Gameplay

You may use the app locally without an account to play and create locally saved sequences. Local sequences and local best results can remain on your device until you delete them, delete the app, or your device removes the data.

Accounts

Community features require a username and password account. You are responsible for keeping your password private.

Accounts do not use email addresses, so there is no email-based password recovery. If you lose your password, you may need to create a new account.

You can delete your account in the app. Account deletion removes your account, sessions, public username identity, and published sequences. Some de-identified moderation records may be retained where needed for safety, abuse prevention, disputes, or legal compliance.

Community Content

You may publish community sequences linked to YouTube videos. Published sequences are attributed to your username. Published sequences are not editable in the app, but you can delete sequences that you published.

You are responsible for your username, sequence note data, reports, report comments, ratings, and other content or activity you submit.

Do not submit content or use the app in a way that:

• Is abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, or otherwise harmful.
• Is illegal or encourages illegal activity.
• Is spam, deceptive, or intended to manipulate ratings, reports, play counts, moderation, community discovery, or App Store discovery.
• Infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Impersonates another person, company, moderator, platform, or official account.
• Attempts to bypass moderation, rate limits, account controls, security controls, platform rules, or YouTube requirements.
• Downloads, extracts, caches, isolates, background-plays, obscures, or manipulates YouTube content or YouTube player controls.

We may reject, hide, remove, restore, rate-limit, or moderate content or accounts at any time when we believe it is needed to enforce these Terms, protect users, protect the service, comply with platform rules, or comply with applicable law.

Reporting, Blocking, And Moderation

Users can report community sequences for inappropriate username, abuse, spam, or other concerns. Signed-in users can block authors where the app exposes that option.

Reports may cause a sequence to be hidden automatically after the configured report threshold. Admin review may keep content active, hold it for review, hide it, remove it, or restore it. We may preserve or de-identify moderation records when needed for safety, abuse prevention, disputes, platform review, or legal compliance.

YouTube

ZQNZ uses YouTube API Services and plays YouTube videos only through a visible embedded YouTube player. ZQNZ does not own YouTube audiovisual content and does not grant rights to that content.

By using YouTube features in ZQNZ, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service:

The app stores sequence data and limited YouTube metadata, not YouTube audiovisual content. You must not use the app to download, extract, cache, isolate, background-play, obscure, or manipulate YouTube content or YouTube player controls.

Gameplay Results And Ratings

Gameplay results, hit percentages, streaks, ratings, play counts, and completion data are provided for entertainment, personal progress, and community discovery.

Do not use automation, scripts, shared accounts, fake accounts, or other artificial means to inflate or manipulate ratings, reports, play counts, completion results, account activity, or moderation signals.

Copyright And Takedown

The app does not host YouTube audiovisual content. For copyright concerns about YouTube videos, use YouTube's reporting tools.

For concerns about usernames, sequence note data, community metadata, or other content inside ZQNZ, contact ezjwg@icloud.com with enough detail to identify the content and explain the issue.

Third-Party Services

The app depends on third-party services, including YouTube/Google, Apple, and Supabase. Those services may change, interrupt, restrict, or discontinue features outside our control.

Availability And Disclaimers

The app is provided as available. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Edvard Zeke Julius Witasp Gruvelgård disclaims warranties and is not responsible for third-party service availability, YouTube availability, user-generated content, moderation decisions made in good faith, or loss of local data.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer-protection law.

Changes

We may update these Terms when the app, backend, legal requirements, or platform requirements change. The latest version will be available at https://zqnz.app/terms.
